ABOUT THE PRODUCTS:
Bundy Sales honing stones have wooden guides and are mounted on new holders. Current test results have shown:Up to 300% increase in life Up to double metal removal rate IMPORTANT:Our Honing Stones do not use the radial swaging system, but use brass screws to lock them in place. It is important to tighten up screws and then back them off half turn to stop stones cracking when in use If you break a stone or guide, you can fit new one without sacrificing the whole set FOR BEST LIFE OF OUR STONES:It is recommended to use hardnes 5 on diametre less than 200mm The "honing oil flow" spec's are given as a guide On roughing stones (BSA15, BSA25) should be used dryer to prolong stone life. On these courser grits, by using them dryer the grit hones back on itself & helps to block up the course structure of the hone stones and this will give you better stone life FOR YOUR INFORMATION:For faster metal removal and less life, use hardness 5 For longer life and less metal removal, use hardness 7 SCREWS:Can be reused for about 50-70 sets or stones 8 screws (to make set), Price AUD3 ea.
